I found a posting on this forum by Jim Baucom dated 1/11/2001 that cites:
"Margaret Barcly(sic) King is called the granddaughter of Walter Ker in information found at the Statesville, NC library. It was in regard to a church even locally when new Headstones were placed on the graves of Richard King and his wife Margaret Barclay."
This ties in very nicely with the website that lists the tombstones for the cemetery they are talking about (Thyatira Cemetery, Rowan Co., NC) and the "New Headstones" for Richard and Margaret. They very nicely listed their children and the children's dates of birth on that tombstone.
The Barclay website has Margaret as the wife of Robert Barclay, b. 1672 in Scotland.
