This is the Walter Ker I am researching also. All the historical records I have found do not mention that he had any daughters. I have only found her on the Family Trees online. Do you have anything that verifies he actually had any daughters, and specifically, Margaret? The Barclays seem convinced that he did and that Margaret married Robert Barclay.
Although Walter Ker was born in Scotland he was in England before immigrating to the colonies. The information I have says:

"Walter Ker, was banished for life to the colonies in September of 1685 for refusing to sign the Oath of Allegiance to King James II. He became one of the original settlers of the town of Freehold in Monmouth County in Central New Jersey. He was one of 200 passengers who sailed from the port of Leith, near Edinburg, aboard the O'Henry and Francisco in September 1685."
