I found a copy of a will for a Jacob KEPLAR (KEPLER), dated December 1842 in Muskingum County, Ohio. In most of the will documents the spelling of the last name is KEPLAR, but a few times it is written as KEPLER.

In the will it lists Jacob KEPLAR's father as John KEPLAR, brothers as David KEPLAR and Issac KEPLAR; sisters as Hannah GLOFSMAN (might be CLOSFSMAN); Sally KEPLAR; and Elizabeth OTT. No mention is made in the will of a spouse or of any children.

The will is dated 30 Dec 1842. A notice is the local newspaper shows that this Jacob KEPLAR died on or before 13 Jan 1843.

Does anyone know anything about this family? I am trying to make a connection with the Jacob KEPLER who married Hannah LIVINGOOD in Muskingum County, Ohio in 1839. Any info appreciated.
