Dear Jeffrey,

We have spoken before; thought I'd pass this along as I see you are thinking maybe Calvin and Mary Jane Runner Keown could be connected to our Mack Keown. I don't think so as her obit list her children and Mack is not listed....

PNEUMONIA CLAIMS VICTIM
Mrs. Mary J. KEOWN Died Sunday Morning, After Short Illness, Near
Greencastle.

Mrs. Mary J. KEOWN, aged 71 years, widow of the late Calvin KEOWN, died
Sunday morning at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. Sam Miller, near
Greencastle, after a several days' illness of pneumonia. The funeral
services were conducted at 11 o'clock this morning from Mt. Zion Church, and
the burial followed in the church graveyard. The deceased was an earnest
Christian woman and a devout member of the Christian church. She was born
December 15, 1839. Her maiden name was Mary RUNNER, and she was a
daughter of the late Ben RUNNER. She was married August 3, 1865, and is
survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sam MILLER, Greencastle, and Mrs. Ed HINES,
of Oklahoma.

Death Volume: 1911 Certificate Number: 8268
Name: Mary Jane KEOWN Age: 71
Died: 26 Mar 1911 Warren Co., KY Gender: Female
Born: 15 Dec 1839 Kentucky Race: White
Father: Benjamin RUNNER Mother: Sydney Ann CREWS

We need to see if there is an obituary for Mack in 1948 in Louisville KY showing his surviving sibblings....that would help tremendously...

Good luck!
