Hi, Lela!

I have not visited this site in several years, and just noticed your postings with Melody Keown this week.

I, too, am a descendant of James Alexander Keown (my g-g-g-g grandfather), and father was from Walker County. Many of my Walker County, GA ancestors are buried in the cemetery at Concord Methodist Church and other sites in and around Villanow, GA.

Do we connect? My line is JAMES ALEXANDER KEOWN/ALEXANDER KEOWN/NATHAN LUSK KEOWN/WILLIAM MILTON KEOWN/NATHANIEL GREEN KEOWN/H.M. KEOWN, my father. Be glad to share any info I have on my KEOWN ancestral line.

Best regards,

David Byron Keown
Springville, AL (hometown, Chattanooga, TN)
