Hi, I have been doing some checking and I am pretty sure that I have found out what the M.H. stands for in M.H. Keown.
First of all, I found this family in the 1850 Ohio Co., KY Census -
#371-371
Marrassa KEOWN 25 KY Farmer
Susanna 26 PA
William 6/12 KY

And, I found this death record in Henderson Co., KY -

KEOWN, William T. b. Ohio Co., KY on Nov 22, 1849
d. Oct 17 1918 buried Denton
Cemetery, Henderson Co., KY
Father - Henderson KEOWN
Mother - Susie RESS
Informant - Ada GRAHAM

I was thinking about what you said about Henry, that he was born March
23, 1872 died April 13, 1958 that would mean he matches this entry from
the Kentucky Death Index. (William Henry?)
