This is crazy! Thousand upon thousand of people world wide are turning to simple DNA testing to answer genealogical questions, and only one (me!) Kehoe (Keough has been tested! My family has used all three common spellings of Keough. In the area of Bunclody, which is about 10 miles from our family home in Wexford, the spelling Keough was common at one time. I know that there are Martins among you which is one of the most common given names in my family. Are we related? Well, we could research paper trail for years and never get close to finding out. Take one DNA test and we may find out in about six weeks if there is anything there. Maybe you don't know whether your people came from the Keoghs of Connaught or the Kehoes of Leinster. If even 50 Keoghs, Keoghs, Kehoes tested we could answer years, and years of searching, We would match up familes. We would answer that question -where am I from? Its so easy. Read up on it. Then go to Family Tree DNA (FTDNA), click on projects, go to geographical projects and click on "I", click on Ireland Heritage Project, scroll past all the names and fill out form. Please, don't let me be the only one. There are thousand of you looking. Take the fast track! Thanks, Miles Kehoe (Maolmordha MacEochadha) R1b1c (Kilrush Parish, County Wexford, Ireland) Notify Administrator about this message?
