The information we have is that John was born in India. The son of an English Army captian. When he grew up he took a sailing vessel to the US. He shows up on the 1910 census in Tilton, New Hampshire married to Lilla Hannaford and with one daughter, Alice, my grandmother.
If anyone can help me I would really appreciated it.
