Thank you William. I was a Thika girl and knew most people fairly well. Peter and his brother John had a farm near the Kikuyu reserve and they constantly had raids as did Lyle Shaw who was also killed. Most of the men in the district belonged to the Police Reserve and used to go out on patrols every night with the "regulars".

Do you still live in Kenya? I am now in Australia.
