I am researching my husbands family tree in Mombasa.
His Great Grandfather was Edward William ELDRED BATTYE married in Mombasa 28 Feb 1912 to Beatrice Leonora ELDRED.
Both Edward and Beatrice were born in Rawalpindi, Punjab, India, Beatrice's father was Shakespear William ELDRED.
Edward had a brother Edmund Emmanuel ELDRED BATTYE.
Edward and Edmund's mother Annie Judith May (I think) remarried R W Battye and Edward and Edmund took on the Battye surname, I don't know the name of Edward and Edmunds father but their Grandfather is believed to be John Edlred.
If anybody can help me with this research i would appreciate any information given.
