I have gone through your list, and merged it with mine.

The comments below are proffered in the greatest respect for the victims and their next of kin. If it appears that we are splitting hairs that is merely because I am trying to work back to the official statistic.

New List ...

1. Eric JN Bowyer 27 Oct 1952 - Often cited as the first victim after the proclamation of a State of Emergency. Killed in his bathroom in North Kinangop.
2. Commander IH Meiklejohn 22 Nov 1952 - Attacked with his wife at dinner time in a farmhouse seven miles from Thomson's Falls.
3. CH Ferguson 1 Jan 1953 - Attacked with Bingley at dinner time on his farm in the Wanjohi Valley.
4. Richard Bingley 1 Jan 1953 - See above. He was murdered in his pyjamas and dressing gown, not on duty with the forces
5. Roger E. G. Ruck 24 Jan 1953 - Killed on his farm in North Kinangop defending his wife and son.
6. Dr. Esmee Ruck 24 Jan 1953 - See above
7. Master Michael Ruck 24 Jan 1953 - See above (aged six).
8. Anthony Gibson 7 Feb 1953 - Farm manager. Killed on Captain Morice's farm seventeen miles outside Nyeri.
9. Geoffrey Le Mesurier Lavers 21 Apr 1953 - Horticulturist with the Nairobi Parks Department, killed in Ziwani Location, Nairobi.
10. Mrs Nerena Meloncelli 25 Apr 1953 - Mau Mau blamed. Murdered in the vicinity of Karatina ten days after her children had arrived in the country.
11. Miss Maria Meloncelli 25 Apr 1953 (see above).
12. Master Mario Meloncelli 25 Apr 1953 (see above).
13. James MacDougall 21 Jul 1953 - The first European resident of Nyeri. Killed in his house four miles outside Nyeri.
14. GLG Shaw 18 Nov 1953 - Killed pursuing a gang through a coffee plantation in the Thika District, after his car stuck in an antbear hole.
15. Jim H Candler, 5 Mar 1954 - Not included in my original list, as he was a District Officer.
16. Walter George Bruxner-Randall 15 Mar 1954 - Killed on his coffee farm eight miles from Thika.
17. Dorothy Marguerite Bruxner-Randall 15 Mar 1954 - See above.
18. Master Andrew Stephens 4 Apr 1954 - Killed with a panga at Atwell's Estate, Kiambu (aged four).
19. Dr Charles HR Pentreath 19 May 1954 - Felled with a knobkerrie in Kiambu (aged 83).
20. JR Stephens 5 Jun 1954 - Ambushed and shot on the road in the Nyeri District.
21. Miss Rita Dorothy Violet Critchley 5 Jun 1954 - Strangled and mutilated with pangas on her property in the Nyeri District.
22. Berkeley Matthews 18 Aug 1954 - Killed at the Sigona Golf Club on the Nairobi-Nakuru road.
23. Mrs Mary Leakey 13 Oct 1954 - Killed on her farm five miles from Nyeri, after hiding and saving her daughter.
24. Arundell Gray Leakey c.13 Oct 1954 - See above. A notorious case. Kidnapped and buried alive.
25. Harold Gillespie Shotton 28 Dec 1954 - Mortally wounded in the chest and arms at his home in Fort Smith.
26. Master Geoffrey Danby 20 Apr 1955 - Knifed to death while out pigeon shooting at Ruaraka near Nairobi (aged 15).
27. Master Christopher Robin Twohey 20 Apr 1955 - See above (aged 13).
28. Walter James Weaver c.30 Apr 1955 - Killed accompanying a patrol of the Royal Irish Fusiliers across his farm, 15 miles from Naivasha.

Case of Mrs Helen Milton and Miss Margaret Milton. They were killed on 2 Nov 1955. Their house servants were suspected of the murder. Kenya Police issued a statement that there were “No signs to suggest that the Mau Mau were involved.”

Case of Mrs. Marie Chapman: She was murdered on or about 23 Sep 1952 – before the official proclamation of a state of Emergency on 20 Oct 1952.

Case of Mrs. Margaret Wright: She was murdered on 3 Oct 1952 – before the official proclamation of a state of Emergency.

Case of Mrs Wyn Medcalfe: She was murdered on 4 Mar 1956, after the 32 deaths statistic was published on 1 Jan 1956. Her house servant was charged with her murder.

I have been unable to identify the following cases:

12. Smith, Donald A

Mau Mau members carried out raids on some farms belonging to people with similar names, without fatal harm to the owners.
