This is a question I and others have often asked. I have compiled my own list, which doesn't include no's 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 21 and 24 on your list. but does have the following additions. Bruxner-Randall, Walter George 16 Apr 1954 Bruxner-Randall, Dorothy 16 Apr 1954 Candler, Jim ? Edmonds, Charlie ? Giffard, Robin ? Hall, Robert ? Judge, Neville ? Medcalfe, Wyn 4 Mar 1956 Milton, Helen Mrs ? Milton, Margaret Miss ? Osbourne, Nora Mrs ? Osbourne, Scotty ? Parfitt, master ? Pedler, G R ? Pedley, Chris ? Semini, Alex ? Seton, Mrs ? Smith, Donald A ? Wright, Margaret Oct 1952, first victim. I have no dates or information on those with a question mark. It is possible some were police or military in which case they might not qualify as "settlers". J R Stephens in your list was a Reserve Police Officer but at 67 years of age was probably a settler as well. Similarly Richard Bingley in your list was one of 31 from the Kenya Regiment who lost their lives during the Emergency so similarly probably doesn't count as a settler even though in reality most of them were. I would certainly welcome any information on the above to confirm if they should or shouldn't be included. Does anyone have a list of Police who lost their lives during the emergency? Some Police graves I have come across from the time of the emergency state "accidentaly killed" so would they still be classified as victims of Mau Mau?
