I am interested in information about James or Jim Manley born in Peterborough, England 1885. He served in the East African Mounted Rifles in WWI. Was manager of the business partnership of Baroness Blixen and Philip Percival in about 1930. He had a farm in the Highlands where the film "King Solomon's Mines" was filmed in about 1950. Continued to live in Kenya and write an American brother in the 1950's Some letters from the Mau Mau period may survive. All contact lost after that time.
I am not certain of the following; Jim Manley may have had a son, perhaps also named James who was at the battle of Dunkirk in WWII. Later he was a director of prisons in Kenya.
I would appreciate any information about the Manley family and especially information after contact was lost
