I am so sorry I didn't notice your reply until now.It was very kind of you.

The Margaret Riddell you mentioned is the wife of my Gran's uncle and she was in fact named Margaret after her.Great Uncle Jim then went on to marry a Russian lady so Margaret was his first wife.We assumed he died in Kenya.We do know he was Mayor of Nairobi 3 times and went on to get the OBE.
