I am looking for information about Cyril John Henry Bacon who worked for the EAR&H (East African Railways and Harbours). He worked in Kilindini in about 1930 - 1940; he was described by someone who worked with him at that time as "very "dapper " gentleman. He used to come to work immaculately dressed in long white trousers, white shirt with long sleeves, and a black bow tie". His wife was thoought to be a school teacher and they had three children who were partially educated in the UK. Jack Simons was a "important" Free Mason in his time.
Does this ring any bells with anyone? Can anyone suggest where I can find out further information?
