Regal Theatre Mombasa - V J Vithalani

My granpa Mr. Vishnuprasad J Vithalani, VJ as most people in Mombasa knew him owned the Regal Theatre in Mombasa. He used to live in Savani building in Mombasa.

During the war years many officers used to visit his theatre regularly. You can see a picture of the Regal Theatre on www.geocities.com/navalvithalani.

References of Regal Theatre can also be found in the memoirs of the officers of His Majesty' Navy serving on board the HMS Prince of Wales.

There used to be Victory Studio in Mombasa where his first photograph was taken.

I'm looking for information on people who might have met him between 1943-1946 in Mombasa or visited the theatre or who might remember something about him.
