Guess what DNA revealed? Guess who is kin to whom

Carol Tefft has posted a request for Kent DNA donors and the group is willing to help with the cost.

We have a good start on identifying the Southern Kents with the recent discovery that Thomas Kent of Craven Co., N. C. and Benoni Kent of Fairfax, Va. were related. Who could have guessed! At this time researchers are continuing to look for the common ancestor. We need DNA to help us do the job of connecting families.

If there is a Kent male descendant of Sampson Kent of Oglethorpe Co., Ga.(c.1762-1844) or Daniel or John Kent please contact Carol or Kent McMahan at the addresses listed in her post to learn more about the DNA project.

Guys would you hurry it up please, DNA kits are on sale!
