Hi,
If you are from Ohio I believe there is a copy in one of the Columbus Libraries.I ran across the listing online but have miss placed it. I believe it was the Ohio Library in downtown Columbus but am not sure.I think the Ohio Historical Society or Franklin Co. Historical Society could help you find a book to view.I hoping to come across it myself.By the way.I have collected information on the James-Silas-Hiram-Cicero-Albert-Roy-Donald-Dwight Kent line.I have found a lot of information on Silas-Roy all deceased. You can look in Union Co. Ohio, Madison Co. Ohio and Champaign Co. Ohio.Silas Kent is buried in Bigelow Cemetery off of 161 on Rosedale Rd. I am having trouble locating information on James.Silas Kent was born in New Jersey but there are no birth records there. He was Christened there. His brother John was born in Virginia. They came via Conn. and Penn. to Ohio. They first came to Franklin Co. and then moved to Greene and Montgomery Co. in Ohio. Then returned to Franklin which the area is now Union Co. Ohio. The Cemetery they are buried in was named after Dr. Bigelow and Plain City used to be called Bigelow town. This family had a furniture factory in Plain City, Ohio which burnt down. They also had one in Urbana, Ohio which still stands, used as a warehouse. Lucinda Kent married E.W.Barlow and the furniture factory was called Barlow-Kent furniture factory. There was a family in Virginia which was started with Robert Kent, He had a son little Jimmie.I am researching right now to see if this is our James Kent. The date of his birth is the right time to fit in with our family. For what ever reason Little Jimmie or James was not in Robert's will but listed in one of his brothers will.MedicallyI have seen a lot of paralysis, blood pressure problems and a cerebral hemmorhage.I still have a long way to go.I am Belinda Kent at [email protected] and am Dwight Kent's wife.
