Hi,Roberta!
Where Isaac was from is a question. There has been no proof he was from PA.Shirely Reynolds who I keep in contact with, who is from Jane Strain Kent says that an early professional researcher said that Isaac's daughter Elizabeth Kent Gibson stated in an 1850 Oregon census that Isaac was from South Carolina. One thing about this Noah you found, Jane Strain Kent married "Black" Adam Zumwalt and they had a child named NOAH Adam Zumwalt.Do you know anymore about this Noah Kent you found? So much is unknown about Isaac. The first record of him that I have, or for that matter that I know of anyone having is his marriage to Lucy Hopkins in Madison Co., KY in 1793.Isaac was married prior to Lucy to an unknown. They had 3 sons together, John, William & Andrew.Andrew being last born.Andrew was born in 1791, so she died shortly there after. As you can see, prior to his marriage to Lucy there are many questions unanswered.Again, MaryAnn stated she thought her grandfather Isaac's father was Isaac, but she was not 100% sure.
Best Wishes, Peggy
