I am interested in the marriage of Michael Kenny and Mary Cronin you reference. My gr. gr. grandfather was John Kenny.I'm not sure if the name was spelled Kenny or Kenney.Anyway, he lived near the town of Cockeysville in Baltimore County Maryland. His children were Michael, Mary Ann, Jane, Catherine, Claire, and Sarah and his wife was Catherine Kane.Through census records I can guess that he was born about 1840.John Kenney is a tough name to trace because it is common. However, I am able to locate a Michael Kenney in the Maryland 1860 census who was born about 1806.His wife's name is Mary and they are living with Patrick (age 25), Patrick (age 22), John (age 21), Michael (age 14), and Thomas (age 9).There were no female children mentioned.I believe that this Michael Kenney (Kenny?) was the Father of my John Kenney based on the age of the John Kenney living with Michael, and the repetition of the family name Michael.Do you think that this Michael and Mary may be the couple that you have marriage information for?
