Hi Mary,
Still no new information on Frederick Allen Kennon before his marriage in Kentucky in 1846 to Harriet Taylor. My Kennon family bible gives his birthdate and place as 05 Aug 1823 in Plattsburgh, NY. After the birth of their first son Frederick William in 1847, the family moved to Carondelet in St. Louis, MO where the rest of the children were born and where he (F.A.) died in Nov. 1873. Other than a few facts about his St Louis life I haven't been able to find out anything about parentage and family in NY.
