He is the child of William Kennon & Elizabeth Harrison Grandchild of Wm. & Elizabeth Lewis etc.
William married Elizabeth Leverette of Lincoln Co. Ga.
He was in Columbia Co. Ga.....
He was in Jasper Co. Ga. 1811-14 at least
He was in Caswell Co. NC Sep. 26 1827-
He was in Butts Co. Ga. at least in 1829
1827- George Owen Butts Co. Ga. appointed him Atty. and he lived Cswell Co. NC. He was to handle something in Hanover Co. Va. (Estate of John Glynn) for George Owen.
In trying to figure out WHY he was picked-- I found the following connection:
Glenn Appleton Owen- Uncle of George- had a son John Jardeman Owen who married Mary Collier 1787-1867. Her brother John 1767-1824 married Patricia Gresham and had Benjamin F. Collier 1811-1896 who married Louisa Kennon 1829 Butts. Louisa was dtr of Wm. Warner.
Is there any other connection to the Owen family?
