Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Right now we have several different families posting to ancestry.com..anything you can add to the family can be uploaded there as a gedcom file free and maintained by yourself free..The story I always heard in the family was 3 brothers came from Ireland but our problem so far has been finding the 3 brothers.. Like a lot of family history I think there is something to the story but too much is missing..Where did they land originally and did the brothers split up after landing..In 1790 there were Canningtons listed in SC and in New England ststes..Note the spelling..by 1850 almost everyone, with exceptions, were spelling the name as Kennington.
