Hi--
My G-grandma was Martha Minerva Kennett (bo. 1902) and she had alot of American Indian blood and cultural knowledge. I'm researching the Kennetts/Kennets (my G-grandma said "Kennett" and claimed she was French-Indian. William Sr. was a laborer who moved to Gallipolis,OH. Sparrel Kennett and his son Wm jr. were steamboatmen, family history says Wm.Jr. was a capt. which was odd because of his ethnicity. They moved to Allegheny,PA. I suspect relations in KY and MO, but can't find a link. This branch of the Kennett family traces back to VA, I get lost there. They are listed as white or not listed most of the time. Any family history would be great if you have connected with Sparrel, or Elsworth, or any of the family. Thanks for any help you can give, have put together part of tree I know, can reciprocate.
