I have recently found a Joshua KENNERLY living with my Porter family in the 1861 census in Barnton, Cheshire. He is aged aged 80, a widower and states he was born in Cheshire, Marbury. His relationship to the head of the household (George Porter) says grandfather, though there is a w before grandfather, which I am assuming may mean wife's grandfather. George's wife was Hannah Allen. Hannah's parents were Joseph and Ann Allen. I do not know the maiden name of Ann, although I am now wondering if it is Kennerly. The 1851 census gives her age as 47, so she would have been born around 1804. Does anyone have any possible information regarding Joshua or Ann? I cannot find Joshua in 1851.
