There were two Isaac Kennerly's in Johnson Township, Gibson County, Indiana in 1850.

The older one: born 1792, Delaward, married Cynthia ___, born 1804 Kentucky.
Children: May, born about 1824, John F., born about 1836, Calvin, born about 1841.

This Isaac is too old to be Everton's son (Everton was born in 1877) and too young to be his brother. But Isaac and his family moved to Wayne County, Illinois about the say time as Everton Kennerly's son William. Isaac died there 22 Nov. 1859 and is buried in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery as is William's family. A notice of Cynthia's death appeared in the Wayne County Press 5 Dec. 1878.

The younger one is probably a brother of William and son of Everton Kennerly, but I can find no proof except for children's names and places he lived. He was born about 1815 in Kentucky and died before the 1900 census, probably still in Gibson County. He married Lavina McDowell on 19 Sept. 1839 in Gibson County. I suspect she was the sister of William's wife, Mary McDowell. Their children were: Daniel, born aboaut 1840, Comfort, born about 1842, Everton, born about 1844, and Orpha born Aug. 1849. Lavina was born Apr 1823 in Indiana and died 15 May 1912, Fort Branch, Gibson, Indiana.

I have posted further information about Everton Kennerly in a different thread on this forum. I have since found him in the 1810 census of Henry County, Kentucky by searching every name (he is terribly mis-indexed).

I have information on Everton's sons from his 2nd marriage if you are interested
