I've just begun researching the Kennerly family and would like to add what I have found out. Everton Kennerly, father of William C. Kennerly, was born in Delaware in 1877, from census records, not in Somerset County, Maryland. He was in Somerset County by the 1800 census. I am still looking for his father, but from probate records he has two brothers: William who died in Somerset County in 1799, and Isaac who stayed in Somerset County. Everton was in Henry County, Kentucky from at least 1813, when he bought property there, until 1818 when he moved to Vanderburgh County, Indiana. William Clark Kennerly was probably born in Henry County. Census records consistently say he was born in Kentucky, not in Indiana. Everton's lst wife, from a deed in Henry County in 1818 was Sally ____.
