Hi Teresa..I am LeJean Kennemer daughter in law of Ottis Kennemer...Rachel Samuel Kennemer's brother..Their father was Charles Wesley Kennemer and their mother was Willie Lee Hardiman..Kennemer. Levon, or Harold, or LeRoy Kennemer should be able to give you Sam's siblings. Uncle Ott or Uncle Ottis still lives in the same place and the only surviving child of charles wesley or willie kennemer (MawMaw)as they called her..He would love to meet you and if you can convenience one of the children of Sam's to go to Athens with you..I am married to Don Kennemer...Ottis son.
I would love any photo that you may have of Sam and his childrem or of MawMaw and any of the Kennemer's. I have three sons who are probably the last or the baby group of Willie Lee Kennemer's great grandchildren..I do have one photo of Charles Wesley lost in my house some where..If I find it I can post it for you to download..I have been searching this only since about Feb of 2003..I realized that Ottis (I call hime Granddaddy) he is the sweetest man-- -is 83 and I want my Kennemer boys to have some knowledge before it is too late...I hope this is helpful...Sam and Ottis had a sister Esther who died within the last few years. Her son lives in Athens they call him Buddy Shields..He could probably supply lots of info and photographs if he is willing to share
I almost flipped when I was randomly reading posted messages and found one from you as I knew Uncle Sam...I hope this information is not too many years too late. Please respond..
