Yes, we probably are cousins, crossing at some point back there. Here is my portion of the Canada lineage, last to first:
*Dad: Ernest Eugene Canada 1922-1983, Worthington IN
*Henry Daniel: B:1866 Somerset KY- D:1944 Worthington, IN
*Joshua Benjamin: B-1838 Mill Springs, Wayne Co, KY D-1927 Jasonville, IN
*Daniel Kennedy Canada: B-1815 Virginia D:1897 Wayne Co. KY
He used both surnames interchangeably.
*Samuel Canada Kennedy: B-1790 Lee Co. VA D-1862 Otter Creek, KY
*Martin Kennedy: B-1750 Louisa, VA D-1847 Hanover, VA
*Charles Kennedy: B-1730 D:1782 Virginia
*William Kennedy: B-1695 Ireland D-1753 Bucks, Pennsylvania
*Thomas Kennedy: B-1655 D-1716 Ireland
I quit posting at that point. Wives and children of these men were too numerous to quickly detail.I have no aunts or uncles still living, just a few cousins. The only pictures of the grands' lives I could find, were on line from different sources. The ones I really want are of my grandmothers. There was a fire at one point and I think most everything may have been destroyed.
If you'd like to send me a direct email address, it would be easier to communicate.
FYI: Benjamin Franklin Canada was my uncle, son of Henry and Rosetta. 1900-1935. He was married to Martha Ann Dudkowsky, who was direct from Germany; had one son-Robert Kennedy.
