Wondering if anyone has info on the parentage of this Isobel Kennedy born circa 1535 and married to Patrick McIlvane. Some trees list her as the daughter of Gilbert Kennedy, 3rd Earl of Cassilis, but I have been unable to confirm this. Some sources think she might have been the widow of a Kennedy of Knockdon. Does anyone know the basis of this belief?
