Charles D (Decker?) Kennedy

I am searching for Charles D. KENNEDY whom I just discovered today was in Texas. Charles D(Decker?) KENNEDY was b. abt. 1901 in Hardin County, Kentucky. He was the son of Decker and Mattie Paradine TURNER KENNEDY. {Decker was from the line of old John Kennady who fathered 10 sons and wound up in Nelson County, Kentucky).
Charles D. KENNEDY moved to Texas for health reasons when he was still a young man. In Texas he met a Lady named Helen (Unknown), and they were married. A relative has just told me that Charlie and Helen lived in Marshall, Texas. Helen was supposed to be at least half Native American.Charlie became a preacher in the Nazerene Church. Charlie and Helen had two daughters, Joy(ce?) and Billie Alice.
Charlie died at about 50 years of age. Helen his wife moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to be with her daughter, (Joy(ce?). My relative believes Charles was burried in Marshall, Texas.
Charles had a younger brother James Merle Kennedy who was also in Texas, Brownsville or McAllen. James was married to a lady by the namie of Ovie (Unknown). I believe Jim died in the 1970's.
The last Kennedy in my line that I have traced to Texas was named Mollie Kennedy. I was always told that she was never married and went to Texas and struck oil. Now this part is family tradition that I cannot verify, however, I do recall a paper that my grandmother had claiming Mollie had left her an inheritance. Mollie would have been a generation before Charles and James KENNEDY.
I would appreciate any help or hints about these families.
Thank You
Cathy Love
