I don't know about Felix Jones but there is a connection between the 3 names: Jones, Kennamer, and Keel.
Moses B. Keel (1832-1900) married Mary Ann Kennamer, daughter of John Kennamer and Charlotte Jones. She died soon after the marriage and Moses then married her sister Gracie (abt 1826-aft 1870). They had a son William (1870-1944).
The siblings of Moses were William, Harriet, Samuel and Seaborn Keel. Their parents John Keel and Annie Busby wer killed by a falling tree while out picking cotton in Oct. 1841, 2 miles north of Paint Rock, and 2 of the older children were injured. They were possibly split up among relatives to be cared for after their parents death.
I hope that this is of help to you.
