Yes, you are right. The 1850 Jackson Co., AL Census lists Rebecca Kenemer with Lucinda 25, Grace 23, Mary A. 19, Vinson 17, Jacob 21, & Mary 16. However, the book doesn't have another Mary as her child. Her children that are listed are: Rachel, Susan, Lucinda, Mary Ann, Gracie, Lucinda, Vinson and Ard. I don't know who the other Mary in the census is, unless it is Ard who is given as marrying George Helms.
On a side note, John Kennemer, Rebecca's husband, was a son of Hance Kennemur. I did find in the book one of Hance's daughters who married a Dickey Dunn, however her name is given as Sallie (Sarah) not Mary. They had 3 listed children: an unnamed son, Martha C. and Rachael. That son did have at least 1 son of his own.
