I have nothing much to go on but my grandmother's name was Maude Zella (I've had to live with it to). Her mother died a few days after her birth, her father left her with family by the name of Bradshaw in or around Roane Cty TN where she was born. 12/1893 to John Kendall, her mother was said to be full indian and from the family it is quit evident, I have a Lula Bradshaw and a Carolina Sharpe. He was said to be from Kentucy and worked for the railroad. I have no one to ask in that side of the family and my father died. His name was Best/Bess. According to what I have been sent already Maude married Carl Lester Best on 12/23/1910. Roane Cty TN, she had 12 children one being a still born. I think all of them are dead now too. My parents were divorced and I did not see my father from the age of 5 or so until he died 35 years later. No one can really help me in his family. I really do not know them. Since my sister and brother's death I want to find out for my kids and their kids as much as I can.
