I am looking for any information on Harry Willis Kendall born 20 April 1888 in Hays, Kansas. He was in Fort Worth, Texas in June of 1917 and was working at the Coca Cola Bottling Company. He married Lorine Fanning and had one child, Harry Marion Kendall born 3 Feb. 1907 in Texas. I have not been able to find Harry Willis Kendall's parents. On the 1900 Census records for Fort Worth, Texas, there is a Harry Kendall born April 1888 in the household of Nicholas Vanhorn and Hattie Vanhorn. It lists him as a grandchild, above him is listed a woman named Hattie Lanier and below her is, I imagine, her daughter, Winnie Lanier also listed as Nicholas Vanhorn's granddaughter. Then it lists Harry Kendall as a grandson. Harry is listed as having been born in Kansas, his father listed as born in New York and his mother listed as having been born in Ohio.Nicholas VanHorn and Hattie were only married for 11 years so the "Hattie" Lanier listed is probably his step-daughter. I haven't been able to find a marriage for Nicholas VanHorn and Hattie. Any help finding the parents of Harry Willis Kendall would be greatly appreciated.
