Hi, Don--Did some searching for you 7 may have found some info you can check into: 1. James Kindle m. Lydia Hodgins 25 Jan 1827 Washington Co IN 2. At World Connect http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com 3 researchers have James Kindle/Kendall/Kendle m.25 Jan 1827 Lydia Hodgins/Hodson or Hodgin. Another researcher there has a possible tie: John Kendall m. 26 Nov 1800 Guilford NC Rachel Hodson. 3. The Carroll County IN Historical Museum has a "Helm Index" that lists George & James Kendall on p.328; you could contact them to inform you what p.328 has to say--the book is on Carroll County History by TB Helm. 4. James Kindle is in the BLM land records for Sec 26 Carroll Co & Samuel Thompson is also Sec 26 Carroll Co; he is father of Mary J Thompson m. 9 1864 Carroll Co IN to Joseph D Kendall.
