George Kendall was born in Mass.
Virginia Peacock Kendall was born in Illinois in the 1850's
They married in Illinois as much as I can tell.
They had a large family but lived in Iowa mainly in Iowa county. In the 1920 Federal Census George and Virginia both in their 60's lived with a daughter by the name of Josephine Rogers and son in law in Iowa County.
We think Virginia died during the 20's, but can't prove it with any records. Her daughter (Josephine) separated from her husband before 1930, both of them relocating and working in Linn County, Iowa. We think they did not actually divorce till about 1935/36. At this time Josephine remarried again.
We suspect we have found George Kendall in the 1930 Federal Census - stating he was a widower. But we don't find him after that anywhere.
Is anyone else working with this family?
