Hi Dennis,
I have e-mailed you before about my Kempers. I was desperately searching for info up until Dec 2005 when my Dad died. I sort of lost interest after that.
I have a real mystery on my hands. My GG Grandfather was William H. Kemper born 1832 in possibly Va. He married Elizabeth O. Gibbs in Kentucky. I have no idea who his parents were but everything points towards James & Judith or their son Caleb and his wife Nancy Caldwell. Wm's wife Elizabeth was buried in the Kemper plot at Spring Grove cemetery in Cincinnati OH. Fannie (kemper) Meeks was the owner of the plot. Do you have any information on this line?
I have a signed book addressed to Elizabeth Pemberton Kemper by Willis Miller Kemper. My father said his Father was given this from his aunt. This has been driving me crazy for years...30 years to be exact!
