I also inherited lots of old photos on my mother's side and still don't know who some of the older ones are. I really appreciate your help with any photos/info you've got -- trying to piece the full puzzle together.

About Nannie -- curiouser and curiouser as the saying goes --- what source material do you have showing her as daughter of Walker & Eliza ? Was August 10th her exact birthday ? Was the Webb family from Ohio or maybe Illinois ?

Google has digitized this 1899 Kemper Genealogy book out of a library in Wisconsin and Walker Kemper (#672) & Eliza Elleston marriage/children are shown on page 151 -- children were: James, Betty Slaughter, Fanny (who died not married), John B. , Walker, and William.

Here's the page link:
http://books.google.com/books?id=YB5WAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA137&lpg=PA137&dq=kemper+genealogy+1899&source=bl&ots=i_xswipcz6&sig=PQE1AnH1TN__fToi9Xpd-L2TNRs&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=8&ct=result#PPA151,M1

and you can also scroll up/down within the book at top right of book view -- page 156 at bottom is where I found reference to a Nannie J. being daughter of Mary Elizabeth Kemper and James W. Roberts -- maybe info/name in book is inaccurate, etc. ???

If link doesn't work, then just Google kemper genealogy 1899 and look for the google.books.com link and the book will pop up in the viewing screen -- looks like you can also download PDF files at top right corner of screen.

Sincere thanks again and I'm trying to help in return,

Walker
