Hi Deborah -

It took awhile, but I found a Nannie J. born August 10th, 1865 in the 1899 genealogy -- maybe this is her.

There are ~250 pages of detailed name genealogy in this book and this Nannie is numbered #1769 and the preceding pages have her detailed parent/ancestor history all the way back -- Nannie's mother was Mary Elizabeth Kemper who married James W. Roberts in 1849 in Westchester, Ohio (family moved to Arcola, Illinois in 1866), so I'm not sure if this is your relative since she should be called Nannie. J. Roberts ?? Unfortunately there isn't any further info on Nannie later in the book, but there is some good info on three of her brother/sisters.

I'll keep looking for any other Nannie names.

I'd be glad to send you a photocopy of this book -- there's also ~50 pages of Kemper narrative history in addition to genealogy tree -- email me your address if interested.

Where/how did you get the Walker, etc. photos -- my grandfather Walker had two brothers -- pretty sure named Harvey and Garvey and they would have been born near the turn of the century. Is your photo possibly of W.C. Kemper, who may be my great-grandfather ?

Walker
