I am working my way up this tree. Areminta, sometimes Arramatie or Mittie, was born in Lamar County, Alabama on
September 14, 1846. She married Joel P. Rector in 1867 and died in Lamar County on April 25, 1888. The LDS site lists her by her maiden name with the Areminta spelling and states that her parents were Minerva Scantton and Peter Kemper. They married in Columbus, Mississippi on January 18, 1838. The LDS church further lists Peter's parents as Harmon and Hannah. No identifying information is provided.
At a separate LDS page, I found a Harmon Kemper born 1764, and his father is Solomon Kemper born 1745 in Virginia, who died January 1824 in Botetourt, Virginia. He married Cecelia Valentine. I don't know if this is the same Harmon Kemper who is father to Peter.
Any help will be appreciated.
