I'm in the process of trying to trace the Kemper line of my family back and would love some help and more information on Mary Evelyn Kemper.
My grandmother believes that Mary Evelyn Kemper originated in Kentucky. She is my great great grandmother and married David Reeser Laird (from Ohio) and had son James Silas Laird in 1899. I've come across other Marys born in Kentucky in the mid 1800s that could possibly be her, but am not certain at this point.
