Have you seen the family on the 1911 Canadian census? I think this is them, in Potton Township, Brome, Quebec:

KEMP, Winfield b. June 1866 age 44 b. USA, immigrated 1890, race English, nationality American, religion Advent occ: Laborer at Saw Mill

wife Anna b. Feb 1865 age 46 b. USA, immigrated 1907 race Irish, nationality American, religion Baptist

dau Amy b. Mar 1900 age 11 b. USA, immigrated 1900, race English, nationality American, religion Anglican

son David b. Sept 1901 age 9 b. USA, immigrated 1900, race English, nationality American, religion Anglican

A few thoughts and questions:
Was your grandmother born in Canada or Vertmont? Was she raised in Canada or Vermont? How sure are you on Adath Anna's date of death? Looking at the info above, I don't know how David could have immigrated a year before he was born, so obviously there's a mistake made somewhere. Looking at the 1900 census, weren't Ida and Gertrude born in Canada? In 1911 Ida would have been 17. Since she is not with the family, perhaps she was already married.

The 1921 Canadian census isn't due out any time soon
