India - Private Laughlan KEMP of 72nd Foot (Duke of Albany's Own Highlanders)

I am interested in finding out who this Lauchlan (Lachlan?) KEMP was. (date of birth, place, parents, etc).

The Families in British India Society Website indicates he was a recipient of The Indian Mutiny Medal (British Forces) 1857-1859.

I believe that he likely died in India as his name appears on a memorial board in St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh, Scotland.
