The Cornish Kemps
Unknowingly YOU may be related to the Kemps of Cornwall. My Wisconsin line has ended but the family brought children to the USA and had offspring here who may have spread to other states. The basic tree does not list all siblings but only the names relative to my family. Joseph Kemp b. circa 1750 married Jane Harris 1772 and had a brother named William.A son Joseph b. 1773 married Mary Harris in 1803.Their son Joseph b. 1799 married Jane Allen in 1821 and had a daughter Mary born in 1828 that is listed. He died in Wiota, Wiconsin circa 1850; was a miner who never did bring his wife to the states but brought children at various times. His son James (Mary's brother?) was born in 1821 and married into my line in Wisconsin. The location for the Cornwall statistics is Tywardreath and Redruth. There probably were other offspring all the way along.
