Kenneth J. Kemp, 60, of South Edwards Avenue, Syracuse, died Friday at home.
Born in Syracuse, he had lived in Phoenix and Clay. He graduated from Phoenix schools. He retired in 1998 as a superintendent in the manufacturing department at Carrier Corp., where he worked 33 years. He also worked at Sears in Great Northern Mall. He was a member of James H. Spire American Legion Post 787 and the Syracuse Ski Club. He served in the Marine Corps and in the 108th Air National Guard.
Survivors: A daughter, Kim J. Hildreth of Clay; his mother, Pauline Kemp of Syracuse; three brothers, Dennis of Bellhaven, NC; Paul of Penneville and Craig of Phoenix; three grandchildren; his companion, Marie Lorenzo of Syracuse.
Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home. Burial at a later date. Calling hours, 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.
