Hang in there Sharon. The Kemner name is more prevalent than you would believe. There are many family groups of Kemners around the country. Most of them can trace their ancestry back to Europe somewhere. However, there have not been many connections yet that tie any of them to one another. I've not seen any of the families you've mentioned, other than on the same census' that you mentioned. Good Luck in your research, but don't give up. If I ever run across your family names I will be sure to let you know.
