The Kelting name is a German name. Check the Kelting-Johnson-Gwinnup forum to see if any of that history is your history. The Keltings were involved with the LDS during the early years of that movement and there still maybe Kelting's in the LDS, for Joseph Johnson Kelting had serveral marriages. Look on the Net for information on Joel Johnson where references is made to Joseph's involvement with the LDS.
He was a Johnson and took his wife's name so she could keep an inheritance in Germany as the oral history is told in our family.
