James Kelsay is son of Moses Kelsay; Samuel and William are his sons. Hugh is Hugh Band Kelsay, son of John (brother of aforementioned James). They were all to Missouri from Barren County, Kentucky. Alexander is a first cousin to James, being a son of John Kelsay (brother of Moses). I descend from Alexander's brother William (who stayed in Wayne County, KY until 1851 to Ray County, Missouri and 1861 to California.
Moses' brother John (Alexander's father) also came to Cooper Co., Missouri in 1830 and died there that year. He and Alexander are both buried in the Kelsay family cemetery near Versailles (think James, Samuel and William are too). Hugh Band is burried elsewhere.
How do you descend from Isabelle?
