I'm not sure. James had a brother, Charles Norbert and a sister who's name I don't know.
I have tracked my Kelman's from Arnprior in 1906 working possibly for the CPR, married in Peterborough, possibly stopping in Newmarket for a while, maybe even Etobicoke, nothing definite yet though, finally settling in Milton,ON where he died in 1925 of an accident involving the railroad.
One other thing, his brother Charles was nicknamed 'Nigg'.I have since learned there is a small town near Aberdeen with that name..but also, there is another 'Nigg' on the north shore of the Moray Firth in Scotland.
If anything, Mary may be his father's sister...maybe. I don't know his parents names at all.
Oh. One more thing, could be just a coincidence...James second oldest son was born in Chatham. Isn't that near St. Thomas? Keep in touch.Who knows, one grain of sand at a time...May I ask, what were Mary's parents names?
